Ryu Jin Hakko Ryu Jujitsu Dojo
Ryu Jin Hakko Ryu Jujitsu Dojo is part of the Traditional Martial Arts Center located in West Sacramento. Richard Schafer holds the rank of Shihan within Hakko Ryu Jujitsu, and is certified in Koho Igakyu Shiatsu as well.
Shihan Rich has been training in the martial arts for over 30 years, and has been teaching for over 20, including the instruction of federal law enforcement.
Ryu Jin Dojo also provides instruction in Muso Jikiden Eishin Ryu Iaijutsu, and Yoshitsune Jujitsu.
Ryu Jin Dojo places its emphasis on practical self-defense first and foremost. The dojo is there to serve the community and to forge its members into honorable members of society that others can turn to in times of need.
Martial Art Styles
The following Martial Arts Styles are offered at Ryu Jin Hakko Ryu Jujitsu Dojo:
- Aiki Jitsu (Aikijutsu)
- Iaido
- Hakko Ryu Jujitsu
- Yoshitsune Jujitsu
Programs & Class Schedule
Classes are held Tuesday through Saturday.
Classes are divided by age groups: 4 yrs old, 5-6 yrs, 7-9 yrs, 10-14yrs, adults.
Generically, most classes consist of instruction in rolling and falling, kicks, punches, joint locks and throws.
Weapons defense and use, as well as multiple attackers are covered in the classes for older children and adults.
All Hakko Ryu Jujitsu classes end with instruction in Koho Igakyu Shiatsu.
