I am an instructor at Russell's School of Karate, throughout my experiences at the school I have made many sacrifices. I have clawed and scratched and put blood, tears, and sweat into it to reach the advanced ranks, at which point I received the Karate name "Python." I highly recommend that ANYONE who wants to take Karate chose this school, even if you feel you won't be good at it, due to ANY reason (including physical and mental disabilities). Karate is not about victory or defeat, it's about the perfection of one's character.

James's review is ridiculous. I studied at Russell's while he was there and he was always disrespectful. He would try to teach students behind the instructor's back like what they thought was wrong, but when fight night came around he would never fight the instructor, probably because he's scared. Based on his behavior he obviously doesn't understand the discipline and respect martial arts teaches, so he's not one to be taking advice from when it comes to martial arts. Maybe he should have payed better attention during his time at Russell's. I highly recommend Russell's. It's an older building and equipment is outdated, but the techniques are top-notch and the monthly price is only $35. You won't find a better price than that.
