The Ronin Jiu-Jitsu Academy teaches Gracie Jiu-Jitsu/Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu with a strong emphasis on self defense, and a non competitive approach to Jiu-Jitsu. We follow the philosophy that Jiu-Jitsu was meant as a way of self defense and not a sport. On the street, there are no rules, points, tap outs, or referees to stop the fight.
All of our students begin with Gracie Fundamentals, which will teach the fundamentals of Gracie Jiu-Jitsu and Self Defense. Once the student has become a Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Blue Belt, they move into Gracie Intermediate class and continue forward in their Jiu-Jitsu journey.
Our classes include GI and NO GI training.
We are NOT an MMA school.
We are a JJGF (Jiu-Jitsu Global Federation) Certified Academy, which is led by Rickson Gracie.
