I was a student in the mid 80s when he taught in Rexdale, Canada for Jong Park Taekwon-do. One requirement for each belt was competing in at least one tournament. He never placed emphasis on winning, but on the experience. I have the utmost respect for Mr. Summers and credit him for helping me develop self confidence. I currently train in Shorin Ru Shidokan karate where I hold the rank of 5th Dan. I will always treasure my tiem traing with Mr. Summers. Thank you Sabumnim.
