This school is great! They offer instruction for beginner BJJ classes Mon-Friday at 615-715 or 715-815 and on Saturdays from 11-12. They also offer advance BJJ 815-930 and on Saturdays from 12-115. This makes it a little easier for me to train. The classes are taught by Professor Pete Lawson a Renzo Gracie Black belt. He also study under the legendary Grandmaster DR Moses Powell, and has black belts in several other martial arts. He is patient and an excellent instructor. The price to train is reasonable considering you can train every day except Sunday. I am active duty Gunnery Sergeant in United States Marine Corps that is stationed in Brooklyn, NYC. So finding a school to enhance my fitness and Martial arts capabilities is very significant for me and my job. Renzo Gracie Brooklyn provides me with instruction I need to excel in that aspect. So if you are in Brooklyn area and want quality instruction of Gracie Jiu Jitsu, Come to Renzo Gracie Brooklyn!

Team/Family Oriented.
ive been training for only a few months and it seems that most of the guys i train with are less experienced than me..what started off as challenging has turned into an ordinary class since i am still a white belt who taps most guys in front of me. no offense to anyone. classmates, instructor rafael and the others are great and friendly and the facility is awesome..if you are an experienced fighter looking to grow i would recommend it of course but i would say this academy is for the beginner person looking to learn and begin training bjj or mma however there are a few good guys here so dont take it the wrong way at all as the school is still pretty new so im sure in time it will be filled with beasts..
