The best instructors and the best value!!

My twins began karate 2 years ago after winning a free month during a promotion. When we started my son was 6 and lacked focus and self-control. Since starting karate, he has improved greatly and they have both learned many important values. Some of the "Principles of a Black Belt" that they learn (and practice) are: respect, self-control, gratitude, modesty, and team work.
Now they take not only karate, but grappling, which is much like jiu-jitsu. It is a wonderful way to get physically fit, and great self defense. I find that since starting this, not only are they are more self-confident, but I'm much more confident in them. My children work very hard with Mr. Whitworth in training and travel around the region to compete in competitions. They have won many medals and samurai swords. The quality of the instructors and the material taught there is proven everytime we travel as a team to competition. Team Victory has won many team trophies, and a state championship.
It's such a great sport that I started taking jiu-jitsu also!
Red Dragon Martial Arts is the best value for your money. There are lots of extra activities for the kids to be a part of, such as parents night out and battleball mania. There is Friday Night Fights monthly for kids and adults to compete in jiu-jitsu. The free 2 week trial (for kids and adult classes) is more than the one or two class trials I found everywhere else, and the prices are much lower than the other places I checked. This is definately the best deal in all of east Tennessee.
