This highly effective martial art was created by Carlos Gracie in the early 20th century from the teaching of Judo master Mitsuo Maeda and was developed into a fighting style that is renowned for its effectiveness.
The art of BJJ is a very positive addition to any lifestyle with huge development in fitness, agility, self-confidence and general physical and mental well being. Our goal is to provide quality training in a friendly and welcoming environment.
Ralph Gracie - Bend is owned by Paul Moresi, a brown belt under Ralph Gracie in San Francisco. Paul has been blessed to spend his entire BJJ journey studying under Ralph and he returns regularly to San Francisco to continue his own path towards black belt.
Ralph Gracie has been a champion fighter for over 20 years and has been called one of the best ground fighters in the world. He was born into and has studied Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for over thirty years. Ralph has dedicated his life to teaching the incredible fighting system known today around the world as Gracie Jiu-Jitsu.
