Progressive Kali Silat
Hello, my name is Mike Tabor, I invite you to share some time with me in the study of what I call Progressive Kali Silat. This system is a street application of my expieriance in the martial arts. My Goal is to share the best of what I have learned in a close nit class with plenty of freedom to ask questions, and stick with a subject until you get it. This system is not a cookie cutter, by that I mean I try to teach the same base to all and then individualy work on a persons strength's. Martial Art Styles
The following Martial Arts Styles are offered at Progressive Kali Silat:
- Aikido
- Arnis/Kali/Escrima/FMA
- Jeet Kune do
- Kung Fu
- Muay Thai
- Silat
Programs & Class Schedule
Minimum age 16 (Will need parental consent form signed) up to 17
No Contract.Will need to sighn a Physical/financial waver(in case of injury).
No Fee's. Class is Free (Donations eccepted for propane in the winter).
Spartan Like Training Facility. (A Barn, no A.C. Shower's, Locker room).
Weapon Training as well as Empty Hand.
Single Stick, Stick And Blade, Double Stick.Single Knife, Dbl. Knife, Staff, Flexable(Sarong,Shirt,Towel,Hankerchif,Rope,Chane)Emty Hand-(Pangamot). (The JKD is JKD Concepts)
All Class's By Appointment Only (One on One up to a Small Class, no more than 6 Student's per session.Exeptions are when we have a tribal meeting.(A Gathering of Members to test skills)
I have 38 Years of Martial Art Experience.
I am 51 Years of Age.
Christian based (non denominational) but any one is welcome.
No Smoking, No Alcohol, No Drug's
Leave all Ego's at the door, but keep your shoes on(you will want them).
This System is not for the ring. It is not M.M.A., It is not Traditional. It is a personal system that is learned like the alphabet.
Learn the letters,learn to make a sentance, then start writing your own way.
