Two years ago my son and I started taking lessons at Pro TKD. I had studied Martial Arts when I was young and thought it would be a great idea for the two of us to get in shape, and have father and son time. The mix of discipline, strength and conditioning training has been very beneficial for us. My son and I are always excited about going to the next level and learning new skills. We enjoy the group lessons and the feel of community between the staff and students. I'd highly recommend Master Erik and the staff of Pro Taekwondo. Rod

I joined Pro Taekwondo because I wanted to improve my way of living. I took TaeKwonDo at my former University in Summer of 2006, and I after few weeks I noticed that my stamina improved, I become more focused and overall, I felt great. Eight years later, I decided to give Pro Taekwondo a try if I will get the same experience as I did in 2006. After few visits I realized that this is it - discipline, focus and lots of encouragements from my teachers. Now, I highly recommend joining. One of the things I admire about the school are the people who behave like adults and treat others like so. As a result, I am active, I feel better, and I am anticipating my next training session.

Master Erik, > Our daughter has been enrolled in your school for over two years and has advanced considerably in her efforts to better herself with the skills taught at Pro TKD. We, as parents, have attended almost every session and have witnessed the improvement not only of her but other students dedicated to the program. We realize, as do the students, that their progress and interest in TKD is the result of your and the staff's efforts to bring a professional atmosphere to the teachings. We enrolled my son Jack in Pro Taekwondo school 5 months ago, in addition to utilizing many treatment options for ADD and a perception issue which effects his balance. Jack's concentration and balance have both steadily improved since beginning this program. So much so, that I myself joined very early into his journey. It has allowed us to spend additional time together in an already busy schedule, and we have both reaped the benefits of health that this regimen provides. I highly recommend this program for anyone interested in bettering the lives of themselves and their family!

When i first enrolled into Pro Taekwondo it was because Ive always been fascinated with MMA. I thought it looked cool, it was something new that I've never done before and I like being physically active. When i first joined everyone was so nice and made me feel so at home. The instructors are so motivating. No matter how tired I was them saying, "Good job Kadeisha keep it up", they are so encouraging. Even on some of my worst days where i felt like nothing was going right I would go to training and they would make my day ten times better. The instructors at Pro Taekwondo care for & take care of ALL of their students. I love how we are all like one big happy family. I highly recommend Pro Taekwondo they are very organized and very caring. If you go in with goals set for yourself to achieve there is no doubt that they will help you achieve those goals within a month. There is so much to learn from them and its so much fun learning it. From the physical training of learning how to do a back spinning round house kick to the mental training of self-discipline & self-control. I value everything that they have taught me and I use it in my every day life. I love my Pro-Taekwondo family and there is no where else I would have chosen to be.

I came to this school as a transfer from another school, but Protaekwondo welcomed and immediately accepted me. One thing that this school emphasizes is family and helping each other as a community. The instructors genuinely care for each student, they even travelled for two hours just to help coach me in a three minute match. They have so many planned activities for the children at the school and for the less fortunate all around town. The training here is fun and exciting, we have a new theme every month and new training plans every time I go. This is the best place to be!

This place is awesome, they treat you like family. The first day I came everybody greeted themselves and I felt like family since. The instructors are energetic and work hard so you can work hard as well. They will keep you motivated to strive for greatness. Doing this program will make you a better person. I highly recommend anyone who wants to do martial art in Gainesville, Pro Taekwondo School is the best place to be!

As a former student at Pro Taekwondo School I can confidently say that I enjoyed my time at the school and with Master Erik. I enrolled at the school to get into better shape, improve my self confidence, focus, and discipline. I enjoyed that the instructors take a personal interest in each student. The Instructors teach with passion. They also teach the students as if they are friend and not just someone in a class. That is some of the many reasons I was glad to be a part of the school. I would recommend Pro Takewondo to anyone who is wanting to improve any part of their life because what you learn at the school goes beyond the martial arts and has a very positive impact on a person's life.

It is my great pleasure to recommend Erik Magbanua and his team at Pro TKD. Although friends prior, my business relationship with Erik and Pro TKD started when we shared advertising resources. Both our business were targeting the same client demographic and both were beneficial and non-competitive. I believe we both gained clients from this relationship. Erik would attend events within my organization to support and promote is company. I did the same and even supported the MMA classes as they started, attending promotional events to publicize the program. I've seen Erik teach classes, both children and adult, TKD and MMA and Erik has an amazing amount of patience. He follows the fundamental teaching principals of demonstration, practice and application to allow his learners the best opportunity to perfect their skill. If I were still in Gainesville, I would have enrolled my children in a Pro TKD class for self defense, character building. motivation and confidence. I have not found anything like it in Colorado Springs. I do not have any hesitation in recommending Master Erik and his Pro TKD team for any TKD or MMA program, or developing a mutually beneficial business relationship with him.

Pro Taekwondo has had such a positive impact on my son's life. In class he is taught about respect, perseverance, inspiration and other important life skills. However, the best part is that the learning and high expectations of the instructors do not stop at the door. Instead, he practices not only the moves but the whole lesson at home, and truly takes the phrase "black belt respect" to heart. More than anything, this positive behavior modeling is what I like best about the program. Of course, the fact that he has fun and gets physical activity is wonderful too! We are so grateful for the kind, patient instructors and engaging curriculum- he is eager to go every class!

I joined Pro TKD about 3 years ago looking for an alternative to working out and a way to hone my previous martial arts skills. I found myself caught in the difference in technique from my previous discipline of Gung-Fu. It was a revelation. They were very receptive of my questions and worked with me endlessly to make the transition. I enjoyed it so much I enrolled my then 8 year old. I noticed the difference immediately. His focus and discipline jumped through the roof. He was just as eager as I was to learn. Watching my son get into something that he thoroughly enjoys makes me a proud parent especially when they are helping teach him the value of learning and respect.

My daughter has been in Taekwondo for over a year. Her focus and determination on her school work, home life, and taekwondo has been amazing. The instructors are amazing!

From the very first class, my son and I feel in love with Pro Taekwondo School and their instructors. Everyone is so respectful and nice and the facility is always clean and promotes family. I wanted to place my son somewhere that'd teach him things that I couldn't about focus and discipline, while also allowing him to exert the energy that five year olds have. I enrolled at Pro Taekwondo in 2004 and began assisting Master Erik and the staff after two years. Being in the studio every day was amazing for me, and I earned my black belt after three years with the school. Although I had to leave the school in 2009 I still keep in touch with the instructor cadre and the friends I made while I was there. Earning my black belt was an extremely proud moment for me, and I still list it as one of my greatest achievements. After years of sweat five days a week in the school, it was exhilarating to finally wear a belt with my name and the schools name prominently displayed. Earning my black belt was not just about the physical challenge, it symbolized my growth from an uncomfortable kid to a confident teacher. It gave me the skills I needed to excel both in school and later as a non commissioned officer in the airforce. I still like to keep up my sparring techniques in the gym for some dynamic movement exercises and it is a fun and challenging way to round out a workout. In essence, Pro Taekwondo has influenced my life for years, and I will hopefully continue to utilize my training for years to come.

My daughter joined Pro TKD at the end of last year. Since then I have noticed a huge improvement in her behavior and willingness to help around the house. Her focus in school was okay, but now it is fantastic. Master Erik and his staff are gentle, but firm in their teaching. I would recommend this school to anyone that is looking for an outlet or an after school activity for your child. As a parent of a student and now a student myself, I think this art will enhance my well being and my families too.

My family and I have been going to Pro Taekwondo for a little over 1 year now and everyday is amazing. We are Constantly learning and improving. The Instructors teach with passion and teach you as a friend and not just a face in a crowd. The take the time to learn you, in the past month they have seen the potential in me and saw the spark thus I am now part of their "Leadership Team". It proves anyone can do it with the right drive. Being part of Pro Taekwondo has given me a sense of purpose. Ever since I started I've lost 35 pounds as well as 7. 5 inches off my waist, I have also fallen in love with their Cage Fitness class, its a great workout and my girlfriend and I always leave smiling. I recommend this school to all ages, and sizes because your always welcome. I look forward to going all the time, and I hope to see new faces who took the same first step I did so many months ago.

I've been a student at Pro Taekwondo for almost a year and I LOVE IT!!. Instructors are awesome and Master Erick and Mrs Somi feels like family to me. I started doing taekwondo since I was 5 years old in Nicaragua, now that I moved to college I decided to continue with my martial arts training. When I moved into Gainesville last year I visited some taekwondo schools, and after careful consideration I found that Pro taekwondo school was the best fit for me. The facilities is always clean, equipment is constantly being renewed and Sparring training is the best !. I recommend Pro Teakwondo School to anyone that's looking for high quality martial arts training.

As a former instructor and student at Pro Taekwondo School I can confidently say that I enjoyed my time with Master Erik and his school. As a fan of traditional martial arts I really respect and enjoy the level at which he and his school care about the development of good people and not just good students. Somewhere along the line schools started to lose that mentality but with Master Erik that is not the case. When I recommend any of my friends to a martial arts school, Pro Taekwondo School is where I send them!

Pro taekwondo is one of the friendliest and most welcoming places I have been training at. The instructors do an amazing job at teaching, everyone is kind to one another, and honestly it feels like having a second family. Being a new student at Pro Taekwondo is one of the most funnest place, the instructors and Master Erik are very friendly but they take their job very seriously. Training there is a good work out and you do end up learning a lot of taekwondo techniques and discipline. Everyone in the place treats you like family and treats you with respect. I highly recommend anyone to try out their classes. You'll be glad you did.

My Daughter and I love this place!!! My daughter has been at Pro Taekwondo School for almost five years now and has enjoyed every minute of her time there! She never wants to leave and wants to go all the way to Ninth Degree black belt here! She has earned her First Degree Black Belt and is working on her second degree! Both my wife and I have enjoyed watching her have fun and grow up within this school. This is a great safe place for all types of kids and definately helps with confidence and independance. We have seen this first hand and would highly recommend this school especially to parents of girls! Has really helped our daughter to gain confidence as she heads into her teen years!

Pro Taekwondo has been a wonderful experience. The instructors are very professional and are amazing with the kids. They do a great job building confidence and self determination in the kids all while getting to know each family and making them feel welcome. Our son truly enjoys his time there!

My daughter has been taking Tae Kwon Do for almost nine months at Pro Taekwondo School. Enrolling her in this has helped build her self-confidence and self-esteem. Pro TKD helps students with not only self-defense but with discipline, ambition, and focus. The instructors take the class seriously but also instill fun at the same time which I find very important to keep the students motivated. The instructors are great! They are all patient, enjoy what they are doing, and the students love them. I find that they are 100% supportive of the students both inside and outside of class. I find the support system at Pro TKD nurturing. Students are recognized for their achievements at school and at home. I recommend Pro TKD to anyone who whose child is in need of motivation, discipline, and self-confidence.

Pro Taekwondo School has helped improve my life in so many ways in a martial arts and from a personal stand point. In a martial arts point of view I have become less angry and have learned to control my anger a lot more. The reason for this is because every student and instructor are always positive every day. Pro Taekwondo School always makes every class fun, positive, and safe! From a personal standard, without this school I would have probably running the streets and wasting my life away. Instead I’ve had this amazing opportunity to train with Pro Taekwondo Schools great staff and students, getting in shape and having a stronger and more positive mindset. I have been training at Pro Taekwondo School for 6 years and have had the pleasure of being an instructor since February 2014. It's a great experience to be able to work with such positive and encouraging instructors, and being able to have the opportunity to build lasting relationships with parents and their kids and have a positive impact on our students' lives. It's very rewarding to see how our students are having a great time in class and getting the many benefits of Taekwondo.

I have had the pleasure of training at Pro Taekwondo School since 2012 and even though I have moved to Ocala, I keep coming back to train here. The instructors are amazing - they are great at challenging people while still keeping things safe for those of us with injuries. I have personally gone through sprained ankles, a torn ACL, and many other aches and pains and have always been encouraged to keep on going while making sure I don't aggravate any injuries. Private or group lesson, it's impossible to go wrong here and I look forward to continuing on to my black belt and beyond!

The hardest part of finally getting in shape for me was getting started. I found this place through a friend and enrolled in a trial. After a month of going to class I had finally found exercise that was both enjoyable and functional. Self defense is never a bad thing to have some practice with and the improvements in my balance and coordination help with any physical task around the house/at work.

The staff are all very friendly and the atmosphere is positive. We had the whole spectrum of people attending. Doctors, teachers, and even a woman who had two children between when she joined and when she got her black belt. I've been going for 2 years now and it has been a really great experience and has me more confident about everything from my body to business deals.
