After checking out the different options in McLean, we decided to use this program for our child. Master Yoon is a wonderful teacher who has really instilled a sense of confidence in my son.

A body, mind and spirit builder

My son has studied TKD at ProTKD Center since he was 4 years old and is now 12 and working on his black belt test. I, having studied martial arts, for many years myself, can strongly endorse this school and Master Yoon. He has an incredible patience, and way of dealing with all students, but especially young children. His students flourish not only physically, but also mentally--especially when it comes to discipline and self control. I strongly recommend this school to all parents.

ProTKD has a reputation as a great school in the McLean area, so I question the negative comment above. Check it out for yourself.

The instructor Yun is focused more on the money instead of the education of the students.
Both our girls have been going to Master Yoon's Dojang for over five years. He is a great and patient but serious teacher. Master Yoon is very passionate about what he teaches and most importantly cares about his students. True, he pushes his students to excel and go to the next level. .....but then that's what good teachers do. ...it is their job to stimulate and challenge their students to aim higher, reach deeper to build their confidence and self-esteem. Master Yoon does that.
