Portland Small-Circle Ju Jitsu is a smaller school in an older building with older equipment. But what they lack in equipment and facilities they greatly make up for in Martial Arts instruction. I found the teaching style to be very personal and effective. Japanese Jujitsu is unique and Small-Circle is a very specific branch of the Japanese styles. I recommend either reading up on Small Circle and Wally Jay or stoping by this school to see how unique the system is. After trying 7 schools, I think I liked this one the best for effective and personable martial arts.
