My aikido journey began here

I began training in aikido under Doug Hanson in 1996 after having competed in other martial arts for a couple decades. Through him, I felt the true potential of aikido and have continued training in aikido ever since. I now run my own dojo in Virginia. His instruction is so good that whenever I returned to Oklahoma, I always make an effort to train with Doug.
