The self defense taught here is not very realistic. To many flashy moves, and what if you are taken to the ground...good sparring school, not much else

Billed as a self defense school, but everthing is about sparring for tournaments. Self defense against foam swords? I guess, Not what we were looking for.

My name is Andrea Bueno and I am 13 years old now and a 1st degree black belt. Three months ago I was a junior black belt in martial arts at Grandmaster James Park Studio. What I like about Grandmaster Park Studio is that Grandmaster Park makes sure that all of his students take the test neatly and nicely. Every students' goal is a black belt. "Quitter never win, winner never quit" that's our motto. I have to say once I was going to be a quitter I would cry because Grandmaster Park because I thought he was to hard on me or I wasn't flexible. I soon catched on and I wanted to say thank you to Grandmaster Park for beliveing in me and encouraging me to do my hardest every single time. My tears turned into strenght. Grandmaster Park is one of the greatest teachers I have known in my life. In karate my life is patterns and sparing thats the whole reason I got into martial arts when I was 5. I am the 2nd person in my family to finsh what I started in martial arts. Lily my cousin is the 1st to finsh her black belt, I owe it all to Grandmaster Park.

Grand Master James Park is truely one of the best instructors in the mesquite area. Unlike many Teachers, Master Park shows great dedication and patients with his students as they train hard, Master park expects nothing but the best from his students in school,class, and Home!....Although Master Park Shows his dedication and Love for the wonderful art of Taekwondo, he never loses sight of what really matters in life for his students and himself.

MY CHILDREN ARE ATTENDING IN PARK'S MARTIAL ARTS AND THEY ARE GREAT GRADE IN SCHOOL AND SHOW GOOD MANNERS AT HOME SINCE THEY STARTED FROM HERE. I THINK ONE OF THE BEST DISCIPLINE IS MAKE KIDS LEARN MARTIAL ARTS TO BECOME BETTER PERSON.FIRST CLASS IS FREE AND COME AND JOIN WHAT IS DIFFERENT FROM OTHERS. HE IS FROM KOREA AND SOMETIMES VERY STRICT BUT IT IS GREAT FOR KIDS FOR IMPROVING THEIR GREAT CHARACTORS.

Master Park is very attentive to every student he takes his time teaching each student correctly. He helps each student to become a better person and is sometimes strict but all is for the good of the student.Most parents want their children to become disciplined so thats why they attend the martial arts studio.Plus the first class is free so see for yourself and compare to other martial arts studios.---Master Park's student.

Master Park does not treat kids fairly. He calls students fat and yell at them. He plays favorites and he is all about his own show.-

He will only pick on boys. He never picked on me but it is frustrating to watch your friends get picked on!
