I visited two other schools in my area and found this Pakua place to be the least intimidating. The students are matched up to their ability and my daughter has never been hurt. She has been attending for over a year and still looks forward to the sessions. This is an accomplishment for a twelve year old. The owner of the school still gives lessons himself and takes great pride in the success of his students. I highly recommend it.

I have been studying martial arts on and off for must of my life.

This schol is the best i have been to. The teachers are knowledgeable and have tons patience. i gave study more there than all my old teacher put togehter.

It's the structure - it's the focus - and yes, also the fun the students have as they learn the moves that make Pakua such a great activity for kids.

I feelt great every time I came to this school with

a pleasant environmernt to study martial art.

The instuction is of higth quality by dedicated masters.

Great place to learn and grow

This school offers a wonderful array of classes, for adults as well as children. Beginners are welcome, as the instructors are patient and very encouraging. More advanced disciplines are also available for study. Through the children's Martial Arts program, both of my young sons have found a safe haven to develop their focus, physical strength, leadership abilities, and self-confidence. I have also personally found great refuge in the Syntony Yoga class. There is great cohesion and comraderie among the patrons; and truly something for everyone, offered at Pakua Long Island! Come by and see for yourself!

Master Eli has an outstanding program that my kids continue to enjoy. They've learned discipline and outstanding self-defense skills that will be useful to them for a long time to come. I highly recommend the school and its fine programs.

Of all the martial arts school I've research or visited, this is the cleanest and homiest i have found. I love the variety of disciplines my kids can study. And i love that they offer studies for all ages and levels. My kids do their regular martial arts and I do Tai Chi. They offer other courses of study. The staff is professional and most important is that my kids look forward to going every day! I would recomend this school to anyone its worth the drive.

My son has been a student of Master Eli's for almost 10 years. Besides enthusiastically learning several disciplines of Pa-Kua, he has greatly benefitted from Master Eli's style of mentoring. He gained a higher level of discipline, self confidence and overall motivation. Best of all he had fun in the process!

It's not easy getting kids to exercize and certainly not in a discplined manner. My 7 year old has been taking classes at Pakua Long Island since he was little and loves the classes so much he made us sign him up for 2 days a week. He is doing great, having fun and loves progressing up in the belt hierarchy. Highly recommended!

I have two boys enrolled ages 8 and 5. They are as different as night and day in many respects such as how they learn. What I found most impressive with the instructors at Pakua is they are not only willing but very capable of tailoring the classes to meet the needs of the individual student. I have seen remarkable progress from my sons in ways that I did not think possible.

I am 46 years old and have been taking classes for more then 2 years. If I can do it, anyone can. Try it, you sure to enjoy it.

My son Luke has been attending Pakua for 6 years. He is now working on his Black Belt. When Luke first started he lacked self-confidence and since he is not a "sports" so to speak kid, I wondered about the training for him. I am happy to say, thanks to Master Eli, he has become a strong confident young man, who loves going to Pakua 2x per week.He is very excited and proud of becoming a Black Belt!

great place. Master Eli is awesome

I have been studying at the Pakua Long Island school since it opened. It is easily accessible by car and LIRR, clean, and Master Eli gives an amazing class. The class schedule is good, as I work during the day and am able to train at night, and the prices are affordable, which is a plus. I highly recommend this school for adults and children.

My son is in his 5th year of study at Pakua Long Island. He has developed an inner confidence and self discipline that I do not believe he would gained anywhere else. He has great skill and control of his body that most 6th graders do not possess. I happily recommend this school to anyone!

I sent my 2 daughters to study here. After watching them train and improve I was enticed to join myself. I have been a student at Pakua Long Island for almost 3 years. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. The training is rigorous and thoughtful. I recomend Pakua Long Island to anyone looking to get in shape, learn martial arts, and enjoy it all the while.

Two of my boys have studied under Master Eli at Pakua Long Island. The classes are wonderful and unlike many other martial arts schools in the area, these classes are small enough so your child gets individual attention. I would highly recommend it for kids and adults alike!

I have studied at the LongIsland school and with Master Eli for a little over three years now. I have studied Tai Chi, Yoga, Energy Ways, Jian (a wonderful ballet/meditation of swordsmanship) and more. Fabulous!

Just discovered it and started with the Yoga classes, but now I am all over the Martial Arts and Sword classes.
