Our family has attended Order of Isshinryu for four years. Before finding this school, our son started lessons at ATA. Within months, he "earned" several belts, without learning anything. Truthfully, we were buying those belts! The difference between the quality of instruction at Order of Isshinryu and the "belt factories" cannot be emphasized enough. Our children's teacher is amazing: he is an expert in martial arts and an EXCELLENT teacher. In addition to self-defense skills, students learn to listen, follow directions, show respect, and support one another. We've never signed a contract and the tuition is so reasonable. Our kids have to LEARN and GROW to EARN a belt promotion. I am so grateful to have this school in our community.
My daughter (Age 5 at the time)attended the Order of Isshinryu in Elkton and LOVED it! It helped to build confidence and was fast paced, challenging, and very fun. The instructor was amazing, provided discipline and motivated the class/students to do their very best. I highly recommend The Order of issinryu!!
