At the school of Oom Yung Doe you will learn the basics of self-defense as well as not one but 8 martial complete martial arts. On top of that, from the beginning VERY high-level movements are taught that you will just not find anywhere else. Period. If you are seeking to improve your physical condition, while learning more in less time, having fun, and meeting great people this is the school for you! If you lack confidence, are not in the shape you wish and don't feel you have the time, this is also the school for you.
From the moment I steped into my first Oom Yung Doe school, I knew I had found something both valuable and rare. The Instructors are straight-forward and helpful and will defintitly challenge you. I love high-intensity sports and have never had a better work-out in my life! The benefits are too many to list, so do yourself a favor and experience the differece of TRUE Traditional Moe Doe! You have nothing to lose and a LOT to gain:)
I have been taking tai chi for 7 years. I turned sixty and was experiencing stiffness, knee problems, fatigue and noticed I was loosing my flexibility. Now I am 68. I am able to do many of the activities I did when I was in my 30/40s. I have gained strength, flexibility, stamina and my ability to focus on tasks has increased. I enjoy the classes, I train in all 8 of the martial arts not just tai chi. Weapons practice is very challenging for both my mind and body and definitely " really cool ".
