Oliver Martial Arts Academy
We are a family oriented & family owned Martial Arts Academy with our location in Riverview, FL. OMA is associated with Bushi-do Karate Kai Shotokan PANACO, the school founded by Shihan Cecilio Ortega.
Our Sensei, Rafael Oliver is originally from Panama City, Panama and earned his Black Belt Certification in 1992 in Shotokan Karate-do under Shihan Cecilio Ortega and AFMA. Sensei Rafael Oliver also holds degrees in Naval Engineering, Theology, and Education.

Martial Art Styles
The following Martial Arts Styles are offered at Oliver Martial Arts Academy:
Programs & Class Schedule
-OMA Cubs Class: Ages 3-6 yrs old
-Pre-Karate Class: Ages 7-10 yrs old
-Beginner & Novice Karate Class: Ages 11 and up (all color belt/levels)
-Competitive Karate: Ages 5 and up, color belt yellow and up. We compete at AAU, NKF, and local tournaments
-Summer Camp - ages 5 -12 yrs old. Teach also self-defense, anti-bullying, stranger danger techniques, among other things to improve focus, self esteem, self assurance.
No contracts, but registration/waiver forms must be filled out by parents/students.
We follow CDC guidelines and are practicing social distancing procedures, tatami (training area) is marked for each student and each student/camper has a designated "cubby" to store their belongings while at class or camp.
