Welcome to Clarksville's Traditional Shotokan Karate Headquarters

We are the lead authority of Traditional Shotokan Karate in the Clarksville area through the United Shotokan Karate Federation. Direct members of the JKA (Japan Karate Association) and teaching methods of Sensei Nishiyama.

Shotokan Karate is one of the most practiced forms of karate in the world. We will continue teaching and passing on this traditional art form that has nearly been lost and deluted through time.

The Baize family opened the 1st dojo in Clarksville back in 1973, now Sensei David Okawa Baize, continues the family tradition. Currently training under Jim Baize (Uncle and senior instructor of Baize family.JKA ITKF USKF.)

We are the United Shotokan Karate Federation with direct lineage to the

founder of Shotokan Karate.
