The Ohio Valley Taekwondo Academy is a school that teaches both the martial science and art traditional Moo Duk Kwan Taekwondo. We sincerely hope that this school will serve our community as an important institution where the virtues of the martial arts are taught and reinforced, including self-discipline, respect, concentration and competition.

The Ohio Valley Taekwondo Academy is a traditional Moo Duk Kwan Taekwondo school under the direction of Grandmaster Sok Ho Kang, 9th degree black belt. Grandmaster Kang has had a presence in the Parkersburg area since 1972. Master Ben Rush opened Ohio Valley Taekwondo Academy in April 2011 in Vienna, WV. Master Ben Rush started Taekwondo in 1985 under Master Chuck Hannah, Grandmaster Kang's association head instructor. In 2018, Master Rush relocated the school to Marietta, OH.
