Street Taekwon-Do was created by Coach Jag and Master Jose Zapata as a means to evolve ITF Taekwon-Do to the combat styles of today's mixed martial arts fighters.
It was developed specifically to counter various striking arts and close quarter combat scenarios from the perspective of a ITF Taekwon-Do fighter.
