I started out by bringing my son to Oak Tree Dojo when they first opened to learn Judo and over time, the rest of my family joined. We have learned (still learning) about the history of Judo/Jiu Jitsu and the Japanese Culture. We also learned a great deal about Hawaiian Culture as some of the Senseis and members are from Hawaii/Hawaiian Roots. Oak Tree Dojo is blessed to have a high ranking Sensei in Sensei Harai (Kodokan Shichidan - 7th Degree Black Belt) as the Senior Head Instructor. Sensei Fred Ogden is a great teacher and can handle just about any type of child/student.
I recommend Oak Tree Dojo to everyone looking to learn a new (Old - 1882 Judo) Martial Art. Young or old, male or female, give this place a try. It is very affordable for the whole family. Stop by and join the Ohana.
