North Side Karate is the BEST school for training in the Martial Arts. I have trained at a few schools from New Orleans, LA to Atlanta, GA, but NSK has the best curriculum that I have come across. The program is very thorough, from techniques, forms, sparring, and weapons, to the extensive self-defense applications, which is what a lot of other programs lack. They even learn the meanings and histories of the styles and techniques/katas they perform.
The class structure is AWESOME, classes are separated according to age and rank, which makes a great difference in each student's ability to absorb instruction and progress to the next level.
NSK also provides after-school pick up, and summer and winter camps! Most importantly, I notice that all students at North Side Karate, from ages 3 to the adults, enjoy being in their classes and they look forward to achieving the next level in their Martial Arts training.
