Welcome to the Northern Virginia Hapkido Academy Website. At NVHA we teach traditional Korean Hapkido, which is based on circular motion, non-resistance and other principles that allow students to be effective in self-defense techniques from the first class. Ability is not based on size or strength - it is based on technique!
Northern Virginia Hapkido Academy holds membership in the USKMAF and the KHF.
Classes are Tuesday and Thursday nights from 8:00 to 9:30.
We add weekend classes as time allows and seminars are available throughout the year. See news and events for the class calendar and for info on seminars.
Northern Virginia Hapkido Academy (NVHA) is located inside of Andrew Gause's Martial Arts Tae Kwon Do at Ravensworth Shopping Center.
