Northern Lights Cuong Nhu
Cuong Nhu is a Vietnamese style, meaning "Hard-Soft." Styles of influence include Shotokan Karate, Vovinam, Aikido, Judo, Wing Chun, Tai Chi, and boxing. Students begin training with mostly hard-style techniques (punches, kicks, blocks), and as they progress through the ranks, incorporate an equal amount of soft-style techniques (throws, holds, jointlocks, grappling) as well as weapons training. Heavy emphasis is placed on philosophy, ethics, personal improvement, and leadership.
