This is THE place to practice your martial arts.

Sifu Harman has clearly dedicated himself to this art, with a keen eye on helping every student grow. I've been learning under his tutelage for nearly 10 years, and his commitment and enthusiasm is amazing.

I continue to be surprised at how much this has shaped my life, and I know I would not have made it this far without Sifu's encouragement and tutelage. He truly has a passion he wants to share.

About the only drawback to the current facility is that it's not a dedicated location, having to share space with other groups. But don't let that discourage you. This practice is not about fancy equipment or pretty uniforms. Its all about learning to know yourself, and absorbing the wisdom passed down from several thousand years of martial artists, especially our current Grand Master Th'e. Its all about knowing how to fight, when to fight, and building on your own strengths and weaknesses. For that, this location is ideal.

This is one of the best places around for learning how to excel at this art. Sifu will give you back whatever you're willing to put into learning. He's one of the toughest fighters I know, and shares his wisdom with amazing patience and generosity. The variety and depth of his knowledge is boundless. I encourage everyone to stop by and give it a try.

My 9 year old son has been taking lessons at this school since he was 6. Sifu Harman has not only taught my son the art of Shaolin-Do Kung Fu, he has helped him develop self-confidence and learn a "don't give up" attitude. I highly recommend this school to any child or adult!

Been a student now for over 3 years, in both Kung Fu and Tai Chi, and no plans to stop! Sifu Nathan is top notch, and works with everyone in their age, range and capabilities. Myself, I'm 38, I have bad knees, and had an ACL replacement last year. Tai Chi was part of my recovery and helped immensely. I take the classes with my 15 year old son and his friend, who both love it...I've never been in better shape and have made some awesome friendships as well. This is not a belt factory, so if you're looking for an easy way to learn a few things then brag to your friends, this probably isn't your school...but if you want to start down a lifelong journey, with continual improvement in all aspects of your life, Mind, Body and Spirit, then we welcome you!

When I first came to Sifu Harman's school over 2.5 years ago, I was nervous about what I would expect. I had tried several other martial arts and attended/observed several other schools around here. What I saw and felt at those other schools wasn't in the true form and philosophy of what martial arts is. Sifu Harman's school is! Not only have I always been a devoted follower of Chinese kung fu (and other martial arts) but Sifu Harman made it easy to love this art, to learn the forms, to stay with it, to truly get into the art, to accomplish something within the art, to feel like you're a part of something....not just a martial art but an ancient tradition and a close family.

As a woman entering this art, I was also a little nervous. Until I began to realize what kung fu what all about: YOU! Kung fu IS and WILL BE what each person brings to it, what each person can do and what each person loves. It is such a diverse art and everyone CAN do it. There are lots of women learning this same martial art across the country. It makes us stronger in many ways and women bring their own unique contributions to this art.

Other than that, if you're especially unsure about kung fu, try Tai Chi first. It's a good starting point for everyone and all of us love it.

All in all, I wish I could give Sifu Harman's school 10 stars, instead of 5. :)
