North Pittsburgh Isshinryu Karate
The class meets at the Baierl Family YMCA. Robert B. Wolf (4th dan) is the head instructor. All four instructors have 30 years or more experience in Isshinryu. The class uses Isshinryu Karate as the core area of study but incorporates moves from a wide range of styles as part of the program. These include joint locks, defense against weapons, throws, elements of Thai boxing, and a lot more. The main emphasis of the class is practical self defense. The class is managed in a friendly atmosphere. Please call for any additional information that you may need.

Programs & Class Schedule
The class meets every Thursday night. The children's class is from 7:30 to 8:30 pm. The adults class is from 8:30 pm to 10:30 pm. There are no contracts. The cost is $70 for every ten weeks for non-members of the YMCA (plus an annual fee of approximately $65). YMCA members pay $35 for every ten weeks.
