I live in pennsylvania and when i went on dojolocator.com to find mma schools near me, the nearest ones were 45 mines to a half an hour away from me in PA. But i couldnt find a lot of information about those schools. Then i saw NJMMA was the next closest place. Their website provided all the information i needed to know about the school along with pictures, videos, testimonials, etc. The academy is a little over an hour away from me but let me say that it is worth every penny ive spent in gas getting there. I have never been to good at sports but since going to the school i have gotten in better shape and i feel like a real athlete. The facility is brand new and amazing, the instructors are incredible, and i truly feel at home with the men and women i train along side with. Ive been training for 10 months and i can honestly say Mixed martial arts has changed my life and its all because of North Jersey mixed martial arts. Do yourself a favor and check it out!

Coming from overseas, and training at various gyms throughout the states/Japan, I was very fortunate to meet the owner and head instructor, Garrett Goldsberry, and to start training at this academy. This gym/dojo has everything you need: quality mats & space, equipment/heavy bags/pads, a cage section for MMA, great attitude/team camaraderie and high level instruction/training. Whether you are just wanting to train, get in better shape, or compete in MMA, this should be your choice! As an MMA fighter, I highly recommend this school to anybody wanting to train in martial arts, BJJ, kickboxing, wrestling, boxing or MMA.

Best martial arts training in North Jersey.

I've been training in Brazillian Jiu Jitsu at NJMMAA since this past December and I'm now addicted to the sport thanks to great instructors and training partners. Not only am I in the best shape of my life at age 33, but BJJ teaches a real-world, practical martial art. The instructors are higly trained professionals that will take the time to demonstrate proper technique, answer any and all questions, and maximize their students' potential. All of my fellow students/training partners are there to help each other out during training... no inflated egos or meat-head nonsense here. And I guarantee that if you put in the time, stay consistent, and train hard you'll see great results quicker than you think!

North Jersey Mixed Martial Arts Academy is the real deal. I've been a member for about 5-6 Months now. I joined to get that xtra Cardio I could never duplicate in a gym environment. As a NJ law enforcement officer, and a retired Marine Gunnery Sergeant I knew it was just the edge I needed to help me remain at the tip of the spear and help keep me safe. NJMMAA is a great place to learn, exercise and prepare yourself for any defensive situation you en counter. The instructors welcome you the minute you walk in the door. There are a variety of styles of martial arts to learn from an experienced and knowledgeable staff. I enjoy stepping in the door and knowing I am going to have a great workout, great period of instruction and encouragement to push myself. You will not want class to be over.

Don't be fooled, NJMMAA is the premiere school in Sussex County, NJ for BJJ, Kick Boxing, and MMA. Our son has been training here for close to a year now and the experience has been nothing short of amazing. If you're just starting out or if you're looking to continue your martial arts training, you won't be disappointed with North Jersey Mixed Martial Arts Academy. All of our expectations have been exceeded, you won't find that anywhere else. Don't take my word for it though, drop in for a no strings attached class and see for yourself. One class and you'll be hooked.

Everyone in tis facility is so helpful and full of knowledge. i have been going to nj mma academy for less then a month. brazlian jui jitsu is awesome i am learning so much. kickboxing class is real good u got punching bags, sparing gloves, training mits. what u put in is what ur gonna get out

The instructors here are extremely dedicated to the education of their students. My son is constantly learning and improving. The new facility is first rate, and the class schedule is very convenient.
