Nikao Training Systems

Nikao Training Systems teaches the arts of Jeet Kune Do, Filipino Kali, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. We are located at the downtown YMCA in Anderson, Indiana. We are a faith-based martial art ministry and offer classes for kids ages 6 to 11 and adults 12 and up.

The head instructor, Andrew Newkirk, has been training the martial arts for over 23 years and has a black belt in Japanese Jiu-Jitsu, a black belt equivalent in Bruce Lee's Jeet Kune Do methods, and is working his way toward his brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Martial Art Styles

The following Martial Arts Styles are offered at Nikao Training Systems:

  • Jeet Kune do

Programs & Class Schedule

Kids Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes are Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m (ages 6-11)

Adult Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes are Tuesday and Thursday from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
(ages 12 and up).

Jeet Kune Do/Filipino Kali/BJJ blend is offered to adults on Saturday mornings from 10 am to noon.
