Great place for all ages and physical abilities to learn Universal Taekwondo. I have been going for 8 years now and plan to continue as long as I am able. I am 68. If I can do it, you can too.

Worth going to if your looking for a local dojo.

I trained with Mr. Niblett for over a year and a half. He was always fair and his methods of teaching helped me work my way up while memorizing techniques so that they became second nature. His training helped me fend for myself in multiple altercations throughout the years to come. Muscle memory would kick in and I didn't even have to think about what I was doing. Overall a very nice place to train.

This is a Tae Kwon Do school... and NOT a "Karate" school as is insinuated

No!

Few things irk me more than Tae Kwon Do dojo's peddling themselves as "Karate" dojo's. It's misleading, it's dishonest, and speaks poorly of the state of Tae Kwon Do in America when a martial art school of this style feels that they must avoid coming right out and stating what this school actually teaches.

For the un-schooled...Karate is a Japanese term that means "empty hand." By using this term one is advertising that they teach some form of Okinawan/Japanese Karate (ie. Shotokan, Shito-ryu, Wado-ryu, or Goju-ryu). But that is not the case here at all. This is Tae Kwon Do - a martial art of KOREAN origin that heavily emphasizes kicks, rather than a blend of kicks and hand strikes.

Truth in advertising, please.
