Naginata, an ancient Japanese martial art, developed as a 6 to 9 foot weapon similar to a glaive. Unique compared to other Japanese weaponry, the Naginata is particularly effective for mid-range and close-quarter fighting due to its length and it’s ambidextrous techniques. Naginata emphasizes movement and technique over strength and power.

Ages 12+
Beginners initially do not need any of the gear or uniform to start practicing. Wear something comfortable to move in.
