I have been a student of Mr. Stone for a while and my experiences with him have amazing. Members of the dojo are like a family and the atmosphere is both supportive and challenging. Mr. Stone's teaching techniques are very well put together. He leads by example and works very hard to make each individual successful in all virtues and benefits of the martial arts. At NSKA you develop yourself mentally and physically. You learn how to avoid a harmful situation while preparing to be more than capable of defending yourself if it comes down to it. But ultimately, you learn the eight virtues: modesty, courtesy, integrity, compassion, gratitude, self-control, perseverance and indomitable spirit. This dojo captures all aspects of the martial arts and I cannot stress enough how great it has been. I previously studied Kenpo and Kung Fu at another dojo, but find that this style and teacher have been much more meaningful and beneficial.
