Programs & Class Schedule

Nan Sho Budokan offers traditional Japanese Nan Sho Kempo Jujutsu, Morin Kun Tao Silat, Inner Wave Pencak Silat, Arnis de Mano and Muso Jikiden Eishin Ryu Iaido Seiho-Ha. The primary teaching philosophy of the Nan Sho system is to teach techniques and principles that are practical to all body types and age levels. The techniques taught hold both elements of both control and quick, combat effectiveness. The methods of self defense taught are not meant for competition and are viewed as necessary for the protection and advancement of the self and others.

Training at Nan Sho Budokan is formatted to teach external and internal martial arts, as well as meditation. Through continued practice and guidance, students often discover improved posture, confidence, physical awareness, and steadfast technique. The education received at Nan Sho Budokan is personalized to every student and often serves as a path to self discovery. Instructors at Nan Sho Budokan are required to train in various martial disciplines in order to understand the perspective of students with and without prior training. Taught in a family friendly atmosphere, the Nan Sho system is applicable to all body types, gender, age, and physical fitness level.
