NJ-OPS KAPAP Self Defense Training

NJ-OPS is an affiliate school of Kapap Academy LLC. We offer weekly self defense training classes in Bergen County, NJ to anyone who is interested in learning Krav Panim El Panim or KAPAP. KAPAP is the Hebrew acronym for “Face to Face Combat”.

Techniques are gathered from various fighting styles such as; Muay Tai, Brazilian Ju Jitsu, Western boxing as well as military and police tactics and techniques. This is not an MMA school or traditional Martial Arts dojo. The KAPAP self defense techniques you will learn are simple but very effective for self-defense purposes, and are really meant for survival.

NJ-OPS instructors are former military and law enforcement members with years of experience in the “real world”, and also have years of experience as self defense instructors.

Programs & Class Schedule

Our KAPAP Self-Defense classes are suitable for everyone who is interested in better protecting themselves and their loved-ones. Our system is relatively easy to learn, and is very effective as a self-defense system for both men and women. It utilizes ‘gross motor movements’ for its foundation, and then it is tested in scenario-based drills and training against resisting partners. We also hold special seminars focusing on areas like gun and knife defense and women-only self defense.

18 and older. Men and Women. No prior experience is necessary. Currently pay on a month-to-month basis so there are no long-term commitments.
