My husband and I have been taking the Impact Krav Maga class and we love it! The instructor is very knowledgeable and patient with newcomers. :)

If you're looking for something that is both physically demanding and rewarding Myers Martial Arts is the place to go!

I am a triple amputee. Sensei Myers didn't balk at all when I walked in 3 years ago and asked if he could train me in Gracie Jiu-Jitsu.

My self esteem, health, and strength have all improved due to the training, and I have a good base of self defense now. I couldn't imagine myself at any other dojo.

They offer great deals like the 6 week intro class for lil leaders that comes with a free uniform and they run specials and contest as well. We have enjoyed our experience so far and we think it will build character in our child as well as teach him to be a leader. We feel so welcome and cannot wait to see how our son will learn and grow under Myer's teaching. I recommend to anyone even in surrounding counties. It's worth the drive for us. My son struggles with sensory processing issues and self esteem and karate can open up doors for his future. Sensei Myers is very friendly and helpful and he encourages his lil leaders to do their best.

My daughter is in the Lil Leaders class and my husband is in the Krav Maga class. Both of them have been going to Myers Martial Arts for over a year now and they both love it. Sensei Eric is great with everyone that I have seen him come into contact with especially with the little kids that don't want to listen during class.

Myers Martial Arts has a good atmosphere and caring instructor who wants to teach life lessons as well as martial arts. The class for 3-4 year olds I feel has too much standing still and isn't very developmentally appropriate for my child just yet but with time Im sure he will enjoy it more. More movement and energy would make the class more enjoyable for my son IMO. Kids like short direct fun sentences and don't pay attention well to long talks but in general the class is still great. Learning respect, not to talk at the same time as others, and how to be a leader is great as long as kids can still be allowed to have fun and be kids. Prices are pretty high per month but worth it for the instruction.

My son says Sensi Myers is his hero. I do not imagine my child training anywhere else. He has never said he didn't want to go to class. He is always excited to train at Myers Martial Arts. Sensi Myers makes training educational and fun.

My son has been at Myers Martial Arts for over a year. Sensei Myers has so much patience while teaching and you can tell from the first visit that he loves what he does. The confidence boost that my son has gotten is wonderful. Sensei motivates him in every class! I highly recommend for anyone considering Martial Arts, to try out a class.

I've been training for about 5½ months. My son has been there for about a year. I wish I would have started sooner. The training top notch. My physical shape a mental sharpness has improved greatly. The camaraderie with other students and instructors is excellent. They make you feel like you belong, unlike some schools that just want your money. They are an honorable and loyal school, not just to the student and students family; but too the community as well. I highly recommend Myers Martial Arts, over any other school.

If you would like in depth training this is the place to go. One criticism is that Sensei talks a bit too much at times. I can parent my own children, Sensei is there to teach martial arts. He is great instructor, works well with the kids, has a positive attitude and gets to children motivated. There are a variety a classes teaching different techniques. I would like to know how diller knows it is a poor school if they have not had any experience with the school. Makes no sense.

Myers Martial Arts is a awesome Place to train. Sensei Myers has helped me over come many obstacles in my life. I highly recommend this place to anyone. Sensei Myers doesn't only teach Martial Arts, he also teaches respect, self discipline, helps boost your self esteem and self confidence in ones self . He offers classes for just about all ages, from 3 years of age and up. He offers a great Karate and Brazilian Jujitsu class for kids and teens. He also offers a great Krav Maga and Brazilian Jujitsu class for adults. I myself are a student at Myers Martial Arts and I love it. You can't beat the great group of people and team instructors here. I have found my home Dojo. Have you? Come check it out for your self and you won't regret it. Sensei Myers is very easy to talk to. He would be very very glad to set down and talk to you and answer any questions or concerns you my have. So come on down and see what you have been missing!

Changed my daughters life....

When I chose to enroll my child, she was in kindergarten. Tiny, frail, passive, uncertain child who needed the little extra "umph" of confidence and guidance. Her life was changed in an instant. She trained, she did her homework, she developed not only martial art skills, but life skills as well. Several years later, I'm the proud mother of a junior black belt. My daughter was not taught to fight, she was taught to defend. She was taught to take pride in her actions. She was taught to lead, never follow. To this dojo, Emma and I will forever be grateful!

I am not exactly the most fit person, and when I started here, I was very bad to say the least. As time moved on, I got better, and as I got better Eric Myers encouraged me and made me feel welcome. Also, I watched how Eric Myers showed respect for others, and he gives very important life guidelines to the kids as well as just teaching martial arts, and although he is a bit wordy at times, he is an excellent teacher, and I very much appreciate and respect what he has done in instructing and teaching here.

Myers is like a walking encyclopedia of martial arts, and seems very comfortable in many skins. He keeps the teaching to the particular style at hand, and doesn't cross train the styles (karate kicks are kept in karate, krav maga (sp?) moves are separate in their own class, etc. I take my two sons there. I had them at another school, and though I have no professional issues with that other school (which I won't name), one of my sons wished to take a more traditional class than what he was being offered, so we moved him to Myers. The other son stayed at the old school, until Buffy called us up and told us it was a conflict of interest to have one son there and other son at Myers. We had to make a choice, and we have not regretted our decision to put both boys into Myers. They seem very happy with their classes and look forward to each class, taking 6 hours of instruction per week, and especially love the warmth of genuine friendships that they have developed with the other students and their families. Great time, great place, and great instructor. If you wish to settle for less, Madisonville does have other options.

My son has been going ever since right before school started this year. It truly is a wonderful thing to watch him grow and learn. He has such a better attitude about things and has so much more confidence in himself. He's always showing me knew things he has learned and mastered. I would recommend this school for anyone of all ages. Even my 3 year old wants to join because of his older brother.

Myers Martial Arts is an all around School. One of the few schools when asked about their leniage that can tell you without hesitation. With quality instructors and a super clean facility you never have to worry about your children's safety. If you doubt their tactics I would recommend to go in and try a class. You won't be disappointed.
