I have been learning this style for some time now and I've seen and learn Mr. Munoz takes the time and explain what your doing and why. When learning he doesn't expect you to get it right the first time. I've done classes with a different instructor before and if you don't get it the first time your punish for it. Over all I believe he is a wonderful instructor and the rest of the students. I also tell people on the street if they want to learn to get a hold of Munoz

I studied with Sensei Munoz for over three years. I found this to ucbe one of the most fulfilling experiences of my life. You are not just given a list of physical actives to lean (although you do work) :) Your mind is also challenged to look at things in new ways. I had a great instructor in addition to Sensei Munoz himself so the established students are also dedicated martial artist. I don't have enough good to say about this school. My only regret is that distance keeps me from continuing my education at this academy.

Renshi Daniel Munoz was promoted to his current rank by Hanshi Phillip Furgason, Ku Dan who received his ranks from O-Sensei Kichiro Shimabuku, Grandmaster Ed McGrath, Ju Dan And Hanshi William Washington, Ju Dan. All of which have solid Isshinryu lineage. Grandmaster Ed McGrath received his rank from first generation karateka Grandmaster Don Nagle.
I have found Renshi Munoz's teaching to be solid and of good quality.
Below is Renshi Monoz's current Sensei's lineage.

Not your typical Martial Arts Academy. You are taught at YOUR pace and ability. You have as much time to truly learn the techniques as you need and are pushed at YOUR limits. Could not recommend this school more. Much better than any Tech martial arts school could hope to be.

don't waste the time
Having studied at several dojos and in several styles, i was surprised to find this level of expertise, honor and wisdom in okinawan karate from an individual that is not in it for the money and genuinely cares about the practice and teaching of the art. What is found here can be considered world class training for the beginner and expert alike.
