Awesome people, intense workouts, traditional focus, classes for all ages. Great place to study martial arts!
I trained in karate in college and learned enough to know the difference between good martial artists and good instructors. Shihan Pillsbury is a 6th degree black belt and is the only instructor in this area who is a fully qualified master of his style. A person only needs to watch the different classes in progress at various dojos to discover who has control over his class and is teaching valuable material and who is unable to maintain discipline and does not really know the material he is supposed to be teaching. After training with the Shihan, I discovered that the techniques he teaches work extremely well. What I can't figure out is why the classes are still only $50 a month (not that I am complaining!)
