Sensei Terry Olson 5th Dan – started his martial arts training in 1973. After training in other systems, he started training Kobayashi Okinawa Shorin Ryu karate under Sensei Jerry Wroblewski 9th Dan and Hanshi Tadashi Yamashita in 1980, in South Bend, In. Together with Sensei Wroblewski, he taught classes until moving to Nebraska in 2018. He is also a Shodan 1st degree black belt in Hojutsu Ryu under Soke Jeff Hall and Sensei Norm Hood. Sensei Deb Rodgers-Olson 3rd Dan – started her martial arts training in 1997 under Sensei Wroblewski and has assisted with teaching – primarily children and young adults. She is also a Shodan 1st degree black belt in Hojutsu Ryu under Soke Jeff Hall and Sensei Norm Hood. Their priority since moving back to Nebraska has been the opening of Midwest Karate Academy/Suibukan of Nebraska in conjunction with Titan Fitness, Hickman, Nebraska to continue the history of the Midwest Karate Academy Dojo.
