Metro Detroit Brazilian Jiu JItsu is shored up by instructor Scott who knows his stuff and gets to the point in a clear well thought out curriculum. The students are a group of brethren that challenge and support each other daily. Classes are six days a week for convenience. I have been grappling for a large portion of my life, and this academy continues my path to overall physical and spiritual growth. There are not many places that can deliver the quality and expertise that this Dojo supplies.

I have been training at Metro Detroit Jiu Jitsu for a little over 2 years now and I can honestly say from the bottom of my heart this is a top-notch academy. From the great instruction all the way to the friendly students.

My work has me traveling to New york quite often and I train at Renzo Gracies, Marcelo Garcias and a few other places, I can honestly say the style of teaching and the curriculum MDBJJ has right here in Michigan is far superior then those other places I have trained at, especially the retention of the lessons taught, MDBJJ has a method that allows you to understand and retain the moves in an easy-paced manner.
