The Memphis Kendo and Iaido Club is a non-profit organization that aims to promote the practice of Kendo and Iaido in the Memphis area. MKIC practices Zen Nippon Kendo Renmei kendo, Seitei Iaido, and Muso Shinden Ryu Iai. (Kamimoto-ha) We are the only Dojo to offer both Kendo and Iaido lessons and believe they are meant to be practiced together. We believe the teachings of Kendo and Iaido will not only help you to improve yourself as a martial artist but as a person as well. We are the original, and most complete school of Japanese swordsmanship in the Memphis area.
The Memphis Kendo and Iaido Club is a member of the Southeastern US Kendo Federation, a regional federation of the All US Kendo Federation.
