McLeod Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is one of the top schools in the North East Ohio area. Located in Akron, Ohio, the school focuses on both sporting aspects of the art, but also the defense aspects that are so often overlooked. Striking and takedowns are not overlooked at McLeod BJJ.
Head instructor Kristopher Mcleod began training under Royce Gracie at an affiliate school back in 1996. He trained under a few instrcutors before landing with Jamel McCurry and Carlos Machado (whom he received his black belt from in August 2012.) It is difficult to find a legit BJJ black belt instructor, a calm and welcoming environment with no ego, a team of great training partners who are supportive in your goals, as well as a place where champions are being produced.
