After School Karate
Dear Parent,
Are you thinking, *How can martial arts teach wholesome values and success skills?* In more ways than you can imagine. I am Master Gary Wayne, owner of The Family Martial Arts Center, in Mount Dora, Florida. For over 30 years I*ve been nurturing children like yours with character building tools found only in karate.

Watch as your child increases in confidence, energy and spirit. Be dazzled as they become unstoppable in their quest for* Greater academic achievement. Unshakable self-respect. Increased strength and fitness, in both body and mind. And all of it comes while learning how to *kick, block and punch.*

Your child*s first and biggest challenge comes from battling their own fears and self doubts: *I*m not as smart as John.* *I don*t get what my teacher is saying.* *I wish I was as [strong, pretty, tall] as Sally.* etc* Your child has a tough time telling you they are haunted by them. Never mind how they might conquer them.

I have a proven solution. A program that has worked for over 10,000 children. A series of lessons your child can learn easier than you think. Martial Arts is not about your child learning to fight others, it*s about fighting*their innermost fears. Your child develops a powerful, unstoppable force that gives them strength to conquer their own self doubts and opens your child to the power of values In other words, when your child uses the discipline of karate to conquer fears, they transfer that discipline to all other areas of their life. I know of no other sport that does this better than karate.

How does this *values* stuff work? And why does karate manage to do a better job teaching it? Karate gives your child the chance to explore their innate powers. They will increase in strength, flexibility, endurance, balance and harmony. This is only the start.

Their physical skills act as a foundation for something much more important, the development of value skills, mental and spiritual.

The Family Martial Arts Center after-school program provides a fun and exciting introductions to martial arts. It also provides an effective behavior-modification program. They learn important social skills while having fun.

Our After School Curriculum includes programs for Little Ninjas 3-6 yrs of age, Children*s Program, and Traditional Tae Kwon Do.
