How we are different
The Way of the Open Hand is not a sports art.
It is designed for hand-to-hand combat,
as in the military or special forces.
Utilizing physics, body mechanics, kinetic energy, angles, anatomy, and gravity, as a science.
Most of the applications and techniques are illegal to use in sports or sanctioned competitions.
The applications are designed to attack the
internal and external organs and bones.
There are no high kicks, no spinning around, no jumping in the air, no fancy acrobatics, or flashy techniques.
It is designed to neutralize the threat efficiently,
in 3 seconds or less.
It is not practiced for its beauty, but for its efficiency.
