The Academy of Martial Arts Studies: a family friendly Christian training environment.We've been training families since 1979. Classes for ages 3 and up. All classes are age/experience appropriate with a special free Saturday "family" Our staff: Hanshi Kevin Cullen 10th Dan traditional Goju Karate; Sensei Jim Zelner 3rd Dan , Sensei Fred Empcke Second Dan, Sensei Michael Hindal Second Dan, Sensei Michael Cook Shodan. Programs & Class Schedule
We are open for business Monday through Thursday from 4:30pm till 8:00pm and on Saturdays from 10:30am till 1pm.
Tiny Tigers class (age 3-6) Monday and Wednesday 5pm-5:30pm
Karate Kids class (age 6-15) Monday/Wednesday group 5:30pm - 6:30pm
Karate Kids class (age 6-15) Tuesday/Thursday group 5pm-6pm
Advanced Kids Tuesday 6:30pm-7:30pm
Adult Goju Karate (age 15 +) Monday 7-8 pm
Wednesday 7-8pm
Thursday 6:30pm-8pm
Saturday 11am-noon
Black Belt Seminar Tuesday Evening 6:30pm-7:30pm
All students will study traditional Goju and in addition will be exposed to Judo, Japanese Jujitsu, Okinawan and Chinese Kempo as well as self defense. Our actions, students and parents of students speak for us as to the quality, effectiveness and results/benefits our practitioners receive in training at the Academy.
