I'm a dad with three boys. I've been to a few Taekwon-Do schools over the years and in the past year finding the right school for my family. This one is not the small hole-in-the-wall kind of school with the smell of stinky feet and b.o. but, not as big as a health club kind with the smell of linament and a distant swimming pool. It's in the middle. The teachers are friendly, not pushy or overbearing. The place is always clean and well lit. The class sizes are not too big, anywhere from 8 to 20 students is the average. That's because it's not just a two day a week school. You can go to class every day except Sunday. They have beginners and advanced classes and they work with little kids around 3 or 4 years old. There is a lady's kick-boxing thing they offer at the same time your kids are in class. -handy.

I didn't run into the hard sell that you usually find with locally owned schools. The prices are about average but when more than one from the same family take lessons, they cut the cost in half and after three people from the same family are taking lessons, the rest of the family is free. Yes, we joined. We all go to different classes. We are getting in good shape and learning how to handle ourselves at the same time. They are very discipline centered. There's a lot of "Yes sir" and "Yes ma'am." and they are always talking about honor, duty and mentoring your juniors. Everyone bows to their seniors and then it's a hand shake and a greeting. It's like we have more people in our family now. -good stuff.
