My training years ago once saved my Life against 3 armed muggers!!The Schools envasist on environment awareness was the main factor I'm still alive as the one mugger pulled a tool steel 1/4" thick bar from his sleeve and tried to split my head open, all I was able to do was a desperation block but I disarmed him broke his fingers , wrist ,elbow and dislocated his shoulder(show him a month later ,he had a cast from fingers to shoulder with a bar holding his arm in place) ,kicking #3 in the throat-he was couching blood and choking as the 3 all helped each other away . All I could think afterward was "Damn ,this stuff REALLY WORKS!!" I ended up was a shattered forearm, but it sure a lot better than if my head was shattered!!
FIRST thing the next morning was a high school kid from across the street at my door. He was saying What happened, I heard you went all BRUCE LEE on those guys-LOL
I'm sure it was dumb luck, but MP training is second to NONE!!
