Manhattan Karate Club

The Manhattan Karate Club is located in University Place, Washington. We teach American Kenpo Karate (Parker system). Our focus is on quality rather than quantity with an emphasis on the importance of basics. The Head Instructor is Gene Eckhart, 7th Degree Black Belt. We operate in a club format as opposed to a commercial dojo. It is not for everyone but we find that it has some benefits that are more difficult to achieve in a commercial setting. Our philosophy is to use the arts as a means to helping individuals to more fully realize their own potential.

Programs & Class Schedule

Minimum age is 18. Some exceptions have been made. Call for more information.

Open classes (all ranks including beginners) are Tuesday and Thursday evenings.

Advanced class (brown and black belts) are Saturday mornings.
