An excellent school for anyone looking to study the martial arts

I have studied the martial arts for many years and looked at many schools since moving to the Charlotte area
Sensei Mangan is extremely knowledgable in multiple martial art
Styles and is always willing to share his knowledge. Very rarely do you find a school where the instructor on the mats has over 30 years of training. He teaches on an individual basis and keeps the atmosphere light. Would recommend school to any first timer or martial artist looking to try another style.

Phenomenal instruction! Sensei Mangan not only teaches martial arts but teaches stranger danger awareness and how to protect yourself as well as how to apply what you learn if attacked! My son is 8 years old and has been with Mangan Martial Arts Academy for 4 years!! He loves it!!!

Sensei Mangan is the best. My daughter has been there for 2 years and she has learned so much. This is the place to go for your kids and yourself. My daughter was getting bullied at school and she was feeling down on herself but since going to Mangan she feels so much better now. The kids that used to bully her no longer do it. Thank you Sensei Mangan.

Sensei Mangan is an incredible teacher for both children and adults. I have taken lessons with him and my youngest son has been learning at Mangan Martial Arts Academy for two years now and he loves it. The kids are taught respect, but in a way that makes them want to respect the people teaching them. It is fun for everyone and not one of these places where your money buys the next belt. I can't imagine going anywhere else.
Ive been involved in the Martial Arts for Close to 20 Years. My grandson studies here now. I still workout from time to time with Sensei Mangan.
He is one of the Best Martial Artists Ive ever met. The Skills he teaches are taken from his Knowledge of all forms of Martial Arts.
If you want to really learn how to defend yourself Mangan Martial Arts is the Place.
