The instructors at MacKenzie's TaeKwon-Do & Hapkido Institute are really great with my kids. Both my son and daughter have benefited so much through their participation at MacKenzie's. My son, who has ADHD, has really learned to focus, and control his behavior. His grades in school have also improved this year. My daughter, who was very shy, has really come out of her shell. Both of my kids are now confident and physically fit. I highly recommend MacKenzie's to other parents who live in the Voorhees and Cherry Hill areas.

My son, John Wetzel, now 42, had one of the influential experience of his life at the center (1985-1988). He needed boost his confidence and self-esteem. This was such a wonderful, positive way to do just that. His older brother (by six years) teased him terribly until one day the older brother had his girlfriend over and started teasing John, and John gave him a great roundhouse kick and put his brother in his place! Another time I saw the impact on John was when at school another boy kept "high stepping" him (stepping on the heel of his show from behind), John refused to retaliate because he was taught that tae kwon do was never for aggression. Great School! So glad you are still working with young (and older) people.
