Machi Dojo

Kaifuku-ryu is a Japanese based karate that uses the Kyokushin-Kai curriculum. Head instructor Gregory Giovaniello has thirty years experience. Trained in New York, Arizona and Japan and is a fifth grade black belt under Dr. Idris Clymer. Moved to Orange CT in 2020 and opened a new branch here. We were part of the International Karate Organization, Kyokushin-Kai Kan and left seven years ago due to changes within the I.K.O.

Programs & Class Schedule

All classes are taught in Japanese with English translations and cover basics, kata and kumite as well as self defense. Classes are held on Tuesdays 5:30-6:30 ages six and up. No contracts required. No testing fees until Shodan (black belt)
