Detroit Dog Brothers Training Group
The Dog Brothers are some of the most highly regarded practitioners of martial arts in the world. The credo is "Higher consciousness through harder contact" in the context of Dog Brothers Martial Arts "If you see it taught, you see it fought." They are known for combining traditional Filipino Martial Arts with a mixed martial arts mentality. Every technique that they teach has been tested in "real contact stick fighting". We are a backyard martial arts training group with a focus on Dog Brothers Martial Arts.
Sessions are led by "Dog" Ken LaFleur. Ken has 15 years in Filipino Martial Arts and Silat, with the last three focused on Dog Brothers Martial Arts. Ken has fought at 2 "Dog Brother's Gathering of the Pack" held annually in Los Angeles and is in training to fight again at the next one.
This group is an official DBMA Training Group. We are in good relations with the various other DBMA Training Groups in the Mid-West, which will give us the opportunity to train and engage with friendly like-minded groups on a regular basis
